Yocasta doesn’t believe in scary stories. Much less in some “cuco” with a black, burnt hand that shows up at night tapping on your window. When La Mano Prieta appears, she swears it’s just her cousin messing around—maybe an old glove, maybe one of those stories grown-ups make up to keep kids in line.

But Yocasta doesn’t scare that easy. She decides to find out the truth for herself. What she didn’t expect was all the weird stuff that would start happening: Murmuros behind the walls…Secrets her family’s been hiding for years…And that presence—watching her. All she wanted was to prove it was all made up. But the truth has claws. And not everything you go looking for… is meant to be found.
